Condor Tool began in
1984 inVilla Park, Illinois, which is the city adjacent to Addison, our current location. We started out with a CNC Lathe and CNC Mill right from the start and we have always excelled in the CNC area of the mold business.
We do work for the thermoplastic and thermoset fields and do a majority of design in house on Solidworks
. We do 3-D machining using
Machining Strategist and Surfcam and handle complicated surfaces with regularity.
We do a lot of round molds with our CNC lathes and ID and OD grinder and even do turning for other mold makers in the area.
We have done work for Bendix, Ford, GM, ITW, Revell-Monogram, Ensar, Tupperware, Kraft and do electronic, electrical, housewares, and toy molds.
We own a 7,500 square foot building with two overhead cranes and moved here in 1989. We have an 8-man shop with 3 computers and can easily translate your iges, dwg, xmt , ProE or Cadkey file. We can modem using the internet and or provide you with disks and plots.
